Apr 05, Kathmandu - Nepal Oil Corporation has appealed to consumers to be mindful of their fuel consumption, especially during the upcoming long holiday weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
The corporation urged the public not to undertake unnecessary long-distance journeys during the holidays to prevent increased fuel consumption. Spokesperson Manoj Thakur emphasized the importance of conserving fuel and requested cooperation from consumers.
"We haven't gone out just because we have holidays. Regardless, we should aim to reduce fuel consumption. The public’s contribution is essential in this effort," Thakur stated.
Currently, the corporation is incurring a loss of NPR 34.36 per liter on petrol, NPR 120.54 per liter on diesel, and NPR 416.37 on each cylinder of LPG.
