Government Urges Public to Work from Home Amid Fuel Crisis

Apr 07, Kathmandu - The government has called for office work to be done from home. The government has urged people to do office work from home, citing the worsening fuel crisis.

Announcing the decision of the Council of Ministers, Minister Pratibha Rawal said that the government has urged people to do office work from home.

"The government does not hide the fact that the fuel crisis has worsened due to the war in West Asia. The government urges everyone to do office work from home as much as possible. Due to the fuel crisis, the government has given two days off and has reduced fuel facilities for high-ranking officials. Everyone's cooperation is needed to reduce fuel consumption," she said.

She said that an odd-even system will be implemented if necessary. She said that the government is focused on promoting electric vehicles.
