Apr 10, Kathmandu - In a decisive meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s parliamentary group, it has been agreed to vote in favor of Rubi Kumari Thakur from the Shram Sanskriti Party for the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. The meeting held today at Singha Durbar confirmed the party’s decision to back Thakur’s candidacy.

Thakur’s supporter within the party, Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, expressed his backing for her. The election for the Deputy Speaker’s position is scheduled for today, with Thakur and Saraswati Lama from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party as the main contenders.
