Apr 10, Kathmandu - Technology giant Xiaomi has officially launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the Redmi A7, into the Nepali market. Designed with an attractive, refined look, a large display screen, and high-performance capabilities, the Redmi A7 aims to cater to budget-conscious consumers seeking reliable features.
The lightweight device weighs just 193 grams and measures 171.79 x 77.8 x 8.26 millimeters, making it comfortable for daily use. It boasts a sizable 6.88-inch LCD display with 450 nits of brightness, supporting 'DC Dimming' technology to reduce eye strain during prolonged usage.
Supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, the Redmi A7 promises smooth and responsive performance. It is available in a 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, with a memory extension feature that allows users to expand RAM up to 6GB.
Powered by a robust 5200mAh battery, the phone is designed for long-lasting usage. It also features 15W fast charging technology to quickly recharge the device.
For added security and privacy, the Redmi A7 includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock. Its dual-camera setup includes a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, capable of capturing high-quality photos even in low-light conditions, including portrait shots and various modes without the need for a stand.
The device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, offering an immersive audio experience for music and podcasts. Its sleek and refined design gives it a premium look, available in Black, Sky Blue, and Orchid Purple colors.
The Redmi A7 also comes with a two-year warranty for customer assurance. The smartphone is priced at NPR 15,999 in Nepal, according to Xiaomi.
