Gold and Silver Prices Rise Slightly in Local Markets

Apr 12, Kathmandu - The prices of gold and silver experienced a moderate increase. Gold per tola rose by NPR 200, while silver saw a gain of NPR 15.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of pure gold now stands at NPR 297,100 per tola, while the price of the same amount of silver remains at NPR 4,975.

Last Friday, the price of hallmark gold was NPR 296,900 per tola, and silver was valued at NPR 4,960.
International media reports indicate that today, gold is trading at USD 5,150 per ounce, and silver is valued at USD 90 for the same quantity in the global markets.
