Apr 12, Kathmandu - A young man was arrested with 19 kilograms of cannabis in the Zero Mile area. Rajesh Das from Dhangadhi Municipality-9 was detained while transporting the narcotics on a motorcycle and an auto-rickshaw towards India.

According to Suman Jung Thapa, the chief of the Armed Police Force, information about cannabis smuggling led to a raid by the security team this morning. Upon suspicion, authorities conducted a search in Sukhipur area and recovered the cannabis concealed in silver-colored jewelry, along with a bracelet, Rs. 25,000 in cash, and a mobile phone.
