Apr 17, Kathmandu - The election committee of the Nepali Congress has started discussions to move forward the process of selecting the leader of the parliamentary party. Consultations and discussions were held with all the Congress MPs at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar on Friday.

Preparations are being made to conclude the leadership selection process by collecting the opinions of the MPs in the discussions. The committee is active in its efforts to establish a consensus within the party and select the leadership.

Earlier, party officials have been holding talks with the aspirants to select the leader of the parliamentary party by consensus.
