American Pop Star d4vd Arrested on Suspicion of Murdering Teenager

Apr 17, Kathmandu - Police have detained a teenage girl in connection with the suspected murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a case that has garnered significant media attention. The suspect has been identified as David Anthony Burke, a 21-year-old who was previously known as American singer d4vd.

Burke was taken into custody amid ongoing grand jury investigations into the death of Hernandez. Authorities revealed that remnants of the girl’s body were found in September inside Burke’s Tesla vehicle. He is currently held without bail, and the case is set to be presented to the district attorney’s office this coming Monday.

Burke’s attorneys issued a statement to the media, asserting, “Evidence will show that David Burke did not commit the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, nor was he responsible for her death.” They added, “No charges have been filed by the grand jury, and no criminal case has been officially initiated. He was detained solely on suspicion.”

Initially, police reported that Burke was arrested on suspicion of the teenager's murder. The investigation began after a foul odor was detected emanating from a vehicle parked at a Hollywood towing yard on September 8. Court documents reveal that inside the front trunk of the Tesla, authorities found a bag containing the girl’s head and body parts.
