Apr 18, Kathmandu - Tribhuvan International Airport security has detained a 46-year-old American citizen for allegedly carrying Weed oil. The arrest was made by the airport security office, according to officials.

Ognian Petrov was scheduled to board an Air India flight to Delhi, India, on Friday afternoon around 1 PM. During luggage inspection, security personnel discovered five bottles containing approximately 1.25 liters of marijuana oil, said Airport Security Chief Raj Kumar Silwal.

The authorities have handed over Petrov to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation.
