Three Indians Arrested with 59 kg of Marijuana

Apr 18, Kathmandu - Police apprehended three Indian nationals with 59 kilograms of banned cannabis from the Koshi Highway. The incident occurred on Saturday, Baishakh 5, when authorities stopped a Scorpio vehicle (BR 10 PB 2241) heading towards Dharan from Bhedetar during routine checks.

According to District Police Office Dharan Chief and DSP Bishan Babu Rai, the cannabis was concealed beneath the vehicle's seat cushions, cleverly hidden from plain sight.

The suspects include Bihar-native drivers, 22-year-old Subhid Kumar and Rohit Kumar, along with 40-year-old Mohammed Jamsher. All three have been taken into custody for further investigation at the Dharan Police Office.
