Apr 23, Kathmandu - Kathmandu Metropolitan City has directed all schools under it to start all educational activities, including teaching, from Baisakh 15.

In a letter written by the metropolis to all schools, it is stated that a notice has been issued to "all schools and stakeholders concerned as per the decision of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Education and Health Committee dated Baisakh 15, 2083 to conduct all educational activities, including teaching, for the academic session 2083, starting from Baisakh 15, 2083."

Earlier, the Kathmandu Valley Mayors Forum had decided to enroll students from Baisakh 11 and to start teaching from Baisakh 15.

Before that, the federal government had decided to start the student enrollment campaign from April 15 and teaching from Baisakh 21.
