Apr 27, Kathmandu - The much-awaited Nepali film "I Am Jit Bahadur" has announced its official release date. The production team revealed that the film will hit theaters nationwide starting from Asadha 5, alongside the unveiling of its first-look poster. The teaser released earlier garnered encouraging responses from audiences on YouTube.
Directed by Indian Bengali filmmaker Suvendu Raj Ghosh, the film portrays the inspiring journey of a young man who struggles to become an artist after moving from his village to the city. Jitu Nepal stars in the lead role, with actress Barsha Raut appearing as his on-screen partner.
The film also features performances by popular actors Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Kc, and Deshbhakta Khanal. The casting has heightened audience excitement, according to the production team.
Produced under the banner of Karmabhumi Creation, the film's executive producers are Nischal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal, with Rajan Shimkhada and Deependra Adhikari serving as co-producers. Cinematographer Arvind from India handled the shooting, and the entire post-production process was completed in India.
Based on a story and directed by Suvendu Raj Ghosh, "I Am Jit Bahadur" will be distributed by RR Films, while OSR Digital has acquired its digital rights. Veteran actor Jitu Nepal, with over three decades of experience, has a prolific career spanning numerous Nepali films and television serials.
