'The Great Tong' Creates a Stir in the EV Market

Apr 28, Kathmandu - The Beijing Auto Show 2026 has sent shockwaves through the global automotive industry with the unveiling of Bividi’s latest flagship SUV, the 'Great Tong.' The vehicle has already set a new milestone by receiving over 30,000 pre-orders within just 24 hours of opening bookings, showcasing the surging enthusiasm for premium electric vehicles in China.

Bividi’s 'Great Tong' is part of the company's 'Dynasty' series and demonstrates cutting-edge technology and luxury. Measuring 5,302 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a 3,130 mm wheelbase, the SUV offers spacious comfort for up to seven passengers. The second and third rows are designed to provide a business-class experience, especially for rear-seat passengers.

Built on Bividi’s super electric platform, the vehicle features a second-generation Blade Battery renowned for its safety and high energy density. Its most standout feature is the 1000-volt architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging capabilities—up to 200 km range in just 5 minutes of charging. Depending on the variant, the Great Tong can travel approximately 850 to 950 kilometers on a full charge.

Inside, the SUV boasts a smart health eco-cabin with three large screens—driver, entertainment, and passenger displays. Rear passengers enjoy a ceiling-mounted entertainment system, along with foldable tables and a small refrigerator. The premium sound system comprises 27 speakers, providing an immersive audio experience.

The ground clearance ranges from 190 mm to 250 mm, ensuring a comfortable ride over rough roads without discomfort. Priced between $36,200 and $46,400, the Great Tong aims to redefine luxury electric mobility in China.
