Apr 30, Kathmandu - The three opposition parties have put forward nine demands to the government. The meeting of the Nepali Congress, the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) held at Singha Durbar on Thursday (Baishakh 18) has demanded that the problem be resolved by providing safe housing to the squatters.
The statement, signed by UML National Assembly Party leader Prem Dangal, Congress Chief Whip Basana Thapa and CPN Chief Whip Yubaraj Dulal states that the opposition was ignored during the budget. It has been urged that all issues be included in the policies and programs.
