Bollywood Star Ranveer Singh’s 'Dhurandhar 2' Becomes Second Indian Film to Cross ₹1,788 Crore Worldwide

May 03, Kathmandu - Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar 2 has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the second Indian film in history to gross over ₹1,788 crore worldwide. The film's total earnings now stand at approximately ₹1,788.32 crore, surpassing Bahubali 2, which previously held the record with a worldwide collection of ₹1,788.06 crore.

According to trade website Saknilk, Dhurandhar 2 collected ₹2.77 crore net in India on its 45th day of release, bringing its total Indian net collection to ₹1,138.54 crore. The film's gross collection in India has reached ₹1,362.57 crore, with the net figure representing ticket sales after taxes, and gross indicating total revenue before taxes.

Internationally, the film has accumulated around ₹425.75 crore, pushing its global gross collection to ₹1,788.32 crore.

Record-Breaking Success: Dhurandhar 2 follows the overwhelming success of its predecessor, which performed exceptionally well at the Indian and international box offices. The first installment earned approximately ₹1,307 crore worldwide, with a gross of ₹1,058.5 crore in India and a net collection of about ₹840 crore. The film also garnered a positive response abroad, earning nearly ₹299.5 crore, and broke records in the US and Canada with earnings of ₹193.6 crore, surpassing Bahubali 2's previous international record.
