May 04, Kathmandu - The government is going to purchase chemical fertilizers from India through G2G. The cabinet meeting held today has given in-principle approval to the Agricultural Materials Company Limited to purchase 60,000 tons of urea and 20,000 tons of DAP fertilizer through G2G, informed government spokesperson and Minister of Education Sasmit Pokharel.
Currently, fertilizers are being purchased through global tenders through the Agricultural Materials Company Limited and Salt Trading Corporation. In this way, problems have been caused by the delay of the tender company in bringing fertilizers.
