May 05, Kathmandu - The District Administration Office of Kavrepalanchok has announced a temporary suspension of vehicle movement on the Khurkot–Bhakundebesi section of the BP Highway. This closure is due to flood damage caused by the recent rise in the Roshi River, which has damaged the highway undergoing construction.
The authorities have stated that all vehicular traffic will be completely halted from 5 PM this evening to 5 AM tomorrow morning. Furthermore, based on weather conditions, rainfall, and the risk of further flooding, the road may be closed at any time even after the specified period if necessary.
Travelers are advised to plan accordingly and stay updated on the latest traffic alerts.
