Police Arrest 13 Suspects with Narcotics from Various Regions in Nepal

May 08, Kathmandu - In a successful operation, a police team on routine patrol has apprehended 13 individuals involved in narcotics-related activities from different parts of Nepal.

According to the Central Police News Desk, the arrests were made in districts including Surkhet, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Morang, Kaski, and Lalitpur.

The Narcotics Control Bureau-led police team recovered a significant stash of illegal substances, including gray heroin, and prescription medications such as Phenergan, Diazepam, Lupidgesic, and Buprenorphine, which can only be legally purchased with a doctor's prescription.

Authorities stated that further investigations are ongoing.
