May 08, Kathmandu - The Supreme Court has issued an interim order to halt the use of diggers in slum settlements nationwide.
A bench comprising Justices Kumar Regmi and Nitya Nanda Pandey issued the order on Friday, responding to a petition filed by law student Majid Ansari. Ansari sought an immediate ban on the demolition activities involving diggers in informal settlements across Nepal.
