May 14, Kathmandu - Expressing dissatisfaction with the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082, six schools in Gorkha have demanded re-examination of the answer sheets and action against the examination center. The six schools that took the examination at the Shakti Secondary Examination Center in the district headquarters have demanded re-examination, citing extreme negligence in the conduct of the examination of the answer sheets.
Mahalakshmi Secondary School in Laxmi Bazar, Ward No. 9 of Gorkha Municipality, Ratna Rajya Secondary School in Gonpa-10, Triveni Secondary School in Palungtar Municipality-9, Bhawani Secondary School in Manbu, Arughat Rural Municipality-2, Nawajagruti Chandi Secondary School in Ashrang, Bhimsenthapa Rural Municipality-6, and Gyanmarg Secondary School in Gandaki Rural Municipality-6, have issued a joint statement demanding re-examination of the SEE answer sheets.
Through the statement, they have demanded re-examination, citing negligence in the answer sheets of Mathematics, Science, and Geography, which were examined at the Shakti Secondary Examination Center. The schools have alleged that the Shakti Mavi Examination Center conducted the examination with oppressive and hostile goals and that the answer sheets were checked by non-subject teachers. Due to which, they complain that the results of the schools that had achieved excellent results in the municipality and district are very disappointing. The schools have also demanded that the Shakti Mavi Examination Center take necessary action.
