May 15, Kathmandu - The National Sports Council (NSC) has officially lifted the suspension imposed on the All Nepal Football Federation (ANFA) leadership.
Following a meeting with ANFA officials, including the General Secretary, and discussions with Education and Sports Minister Sasmita Pokhrel on Friday, an agreement was reached to revoke the suspension.
ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah confirmed that the ban has been lifted.
Previously, the NSC had suspended ANFA leadership on March 25, citing non-compliance with directives issued repeatedly, under Section 29(2) of the Sports Development Act 2077.
