May 16, Kathmandu - A woman who had gone to chase away monkeys in Moli, Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-1, has been found dead. Chetkumari Thapa Magar, 44, a resident of Gahate, Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-1, was found dead in a corn field on Thursday.

Chetkumari, daughter of local Om Thapa Magar, had gone to her field to chase away monkeys (to chase away monkeys) on Thursday around 12:00 noon. When she did not return home, her mother found her dead, hanging on the wall of the field, while searching for her.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a two-member team under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Binod Kumar Khan Tharu from Police Post Nisankhe reached the spot and provided security. A police team under the command of Police Inspector (P. Ishwor Adhikari) from District Police Office Okhaldhunga has been deployed to the spot for further investigation and legal proceedings, according to the District Police Office Okhaldhunga.
