May 16, Kathmandu - With the aim of addressing the skills shortage in Nepal’s Information Technology (IT) sector, TechPaaila Innovations has announced a strategic partnership with NCC Education UK. Through this partnership, Nepali students in grades 11 and 12 will now be able to study international-level cybersecurity, AI and data science courses in their own schools.
At a special product launch event recently organized, TechPaaila Innovations Associate Director and Technology Expert Chiranjeevi Adhikari delivered the keynote address on “The Foundation of Digital Nepal: Skill-Based Education and Global Competitiveness”.
He said that this campaign will prove to be a milestone in Nepal’s technology sector. During his address, he presented the fact that even though Nepal’s IT sector is growing by 20 to 25 percent annually, 70 percent of companies do not have certified human resources.
TechPaaila, in collaboration with NCC Education UK, has announced the launch of three major courses recognized in over 50 countries around the world, which will cover cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and data science.
The company has also introduced a 'zero setup cost' model for educational institutions. Under this, the company will provide certified trainers and a state-of-the-art LMS (Learning Management System). Due to this, the company says that no Nepali student will be deprived of modern technology education due to lack of budget or infrastructure.
