276 kg of Marijuana Discovered in Siraha

May 17, Kathmandu - Siraha Police have uncovered an unattended stash of nearly three quintals of marijuana. According to authorities, late Saturday night, law enforcement officials found the illicit substance in a bush approximately 300 meters from the Karjanha Municipality Office.

The seized marijuana was stored in 11 sacks, and police estimates its weight at around 276 kilograms, stated Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramesh Bahadur Pal. 

The police have taken the confiscated cannabis into custody and are currently conducting further investigations into the case.
