May 19, Kathmandu - Ncell Foundation has announced the continuation of its collaboration with Project Shiksha to provide scholarships to students who have completed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). This year’s initiative aims to open new doors of opportunity for talented students across the country.
Under this partnership, Ncell Foundation will award scholarships to 100 SSE pass students for their upcoming grades 11 and 12 studies. The selection process will involve written examinations and interviews conducted across all seven provinces, ensuring equal opportunities for students from every corner of Nepal. Priority will be given to students who require financial assistance to pursue higher education.
In addition to the scholarship, recipients will receive free communication services from Ncell for 12 months, including limited data and voice packages, facilitating their continued learning and personal aspirations.
“At Ncell Foundation, we believe education is the fundamental pillar for building the country's future. Through our collaboration with Project Shiksha, we aim to support SEE pass students in realizing their dreams and ensuring access to quality education,” said Bishakha Laxmi Khadka, Director of Corporate Communication and Sustainability at Ncell.
The scholarship program, operated by the Hundered Group under Project Shiksha, will also provide an additional 50 scholarships this year. Established in 2017, the program has been creating meaningful educational opportunities for SEE graduates nationwide.
Last year, Ncell Foundation awarded scholarships to 50 students across Nepal. These students are now pursuing their 12th-grade studies at various educational institutions, following their aspirations with renewed hope.
