Opposition Parties Obstruct the Search for the PM in Parliament

May 21, Kathmandu - In Thursday's parliamentary session, opposition parties once again voiced their dissent. Speaker D.P. Aryal granted time for Law Minister Sobita Gautam, representing Prime Minister Balen Shah, to propose considerations for the First Amendment Bill on the House of Representatives Election. However, opposition MPs raised objections and protested against the move.

Members from CPN-UML, the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), and the Shram Sanskriti Party stood up to oppose the proposal. Despite the opposition’s protests, Speaker Aryal allowed the opposition parties time to express their views.
