Pakistani Security Forces Eliminate 23 Terrorists in Northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

May 22, Kathmandu - Pakistani security forces have reportedly killed 23 terrorists during a covert security operation across various areas in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military has announced.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan's military media wing, described the operation as part of an anti-terrorism campaign conducted in northern Waziristan and Bannu districts.

The terrorists targeted were actively involved in various militant activities within the region. During the operation, security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists.

The ISPR also stated that the armed forces identified and destroyed underground tunnels and bunkers used by the terrorists during the campaign.

The military assured that the operation to eliminate remaining terrorists in the area is ongoing, emphasizing their commitment to restoring peace and stability in the region.
