May 24, Kathmandu - The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Federal Affairs has announced plans to provide land management services across 35 local levels in the first phase. The move comes after receiving numerous requests from various local governments, but infrastructure limitations have delayed the rollout.
In an official notice published on Baisakh 10, the ministry revealed that a total of 225 local governments have submitted applications for land management services. The ministry has also released a list of the necessary infrastructure requirements to facilitate the initiation of these services.
Once the required infrastructure is in place, local governments are instructed to send a formal letter via email to the ministry to proceed with the implementation.
