The raindrops

not so merciful

fell upon the leaves

of the flower

that bloomed

partially blue and purple

with green leaves

and muddy steam

till all the way

to the roots

covered in mud.

The roots,

in their pristine form

supplied the water and minerals

to the flower

for the naked eye

on the surface

to shine with smile.
