May 29, Kathmandu - In his upcoming budget speech for the next fiscal year, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced that value-added tax (VAT) refunds will now be processed automatically.
Private sector entrepreneurs have long demanded that VAT refunds be made automatic to streamline business operations and promote economic growth.
