Jun 02, Kathmandu - Russia carried out a major airstrike on several Ukrainian cities on Monday night, killing five people and wounding dozens. Four people were killed and 16 injured in Dnipro, Ukraine.

One person was killed and 29 injured in Kiev, the BBC reported. The move was in retaliation for a drone strike on a Russian-occupied hostel in Ukraine last month that killed 21 people.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has urged people to take shelter. Tymur Tkachenko, the head of Kyiv’s city military administration, said the attack was carried out by ballistic missiles.
