Squatter Bhesh Bahadur, Who was Seriously Ill at the Holding Center, Dies during Treatment

Jun 04, Kathmandu - Bhesh Bahadur Darji, who was living in a holding center in Kirtipur after the government forcibly evicted him from a squatter settlement, died on Thursday during treatment.

His family had taken him to Bir Hospital for treatment after he developed health problems. During tests at the hospital, doctors said that he had fluid in his lungs.

According to his family, Darji had been suffering from a lung disease for a long time. He was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated recently.

According to Bir Hospital, he died on Thursday while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU).

The tailor had been living in a holding center in Kirtipur after the squatter settlement was removed. Further details about his death are yet to be released.
