UN Peacekeeper Died in Lebanon

Jun 04, Kathmandu - A United Nations (UN) peacekeeper has been killed in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the deceased soldier is a Serbian citizen.

According to the ministry, the soldier was injured in an attack on a UN base. He was immediately treated at a hospital inside the base after being injured.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Senior Sergeant Milovan Jovanovic was later taken by helicopter to the University Medical Center in Beirut, where he died during treatment.

Hezbollah demands: Israeli forces withdraw

Esmail Qani, commander of the Quds Force under Iran's military organization IRGC, said that Hezbollah has demanded that Israeli forces withdraw from areas in Lebanon where Israeli forces have entered during the current conflict.

According to him, the demand states that Israel should return to the situation before the war began.

Qani said that it is the responsibility of all Muslims to support Hezbollah against Israeli forces in Lebanon. In addition, he has claimed that the goal of removing Israel from the region can be achieved.
