SC's Interim Order against the Selection of Officials of the Nepal Airlines Corporation's Board of Directors

Jun 05, Kathmandu - The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in the dispute over the selection of officers of the Nepal Airlines Corporation's board of directors.

On Friday, a joint bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Shrikant Poudel issued an interim order not to proceed with the selection process of the board members.

At a time when the government is preparing to select the members and chairman of the Nepal Airlines Corporation through a competition by inviting applications, the Supreme Court has issued an interim order in response to a writ petition filed by Upendra Bahadur Karki, claiming that he was unfairly excluded from the board of directors of the corporation during the competition.
