HoR Meeting Adjourned with Notice

Jun 08, Kathmandu - The meeting of the House of Representatives held on Monday has been adjourned by posting a notice. The meeting was adjourned for 15 minutes due to opposition party obstruction.

The meeting, which was adjourned for 15 minutes, has been adjourned by posting a notice until 1 pm on Tuesday. General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Padma Prasad Pandey has posted a notice stating that the meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday. The notice was posted stating that the meeting could not be held due to 'special reasons'.

Opposition parties are demanding a response to Prime Minister Balendra Shah's statement that Nepal has encroached on Indian territory. Opposition parties have been obstructing the meeting of the House of Representatives by demanding that the Prime Minister withdraw the statement and remove it from the record of the parliament.

Prime Minister Shah had made a statement in the meeting of the House of Representatives that India had encroached not only on Nepal's territory but also on Indian territory.
