Jun 14, Kathmandu - Turkey emerged victorious with a 2-0 win in Group D. The match took place in Canada, where Australia's opponents, Irakounda, scored the opening goal in the 27th minute. 

In the second half, Connor Metcalfe doubled the lead for Turkey, sealing their win. Earlier today, other Group D matches saw Qatar and Switzerland play to a 1-1 draw, while Brazil and Morocco also ended in a 1-1 stalemate. 

In Group C action, Scotland secured a victory over Haiti, maintaining their top position in the group standings.
