Four Former Nepali Prime Ministers Appear Together on Stage for the First Time

Jun 28, Kathmandu - Four former Prime Ministers appeared together on the same platform during an event organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation to mark the 75th birth anniversary of the late leader Madan Bhandari.

The event saw notable political figures, including KP Sharma Oli, the Chairman of CPN-UML and former Prime Minister; Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the Coordinator of CPN (Maoist Centre); Madhav Nepal, Co-Coordinator of the CPN (UML); and Jhalanath Khanal, senior leader of the CPN (UML), all sharing the stage simultaneously.

This gathering follows the nationwide 'Gen-Z Movement' held in Bhadra, and marks a significant moment of unity in Nepali politics. Just days ago, Prachanda emphasized the ongoing efforts to consolidate the ruling coalition both in Parliament and on the streets, hinting at a possible reunification of the factions within the Nepal Communist Party.
