Upcoming Nepali Film "Lajjaavati" Unveils Character Posters Ahead of Release

Jun 28, Kathmandu - The highly anticipated Nepali film Lajjawati, set to hit theaters on Shrawan 29, has unveiled a series of captivating character posters. The production team released five posters simultaneously on Friday, offering a glimpse into the diverse personalities and emotional depths of the film's characters.

The posters showcase the main actors in various looks, highlighting themes of love, relationships, conflict, and rural life. Each poster reflects the essence of the characters, hinting at a story rich in social and emotional layers.

One poster features actors Mukun Bhusal and Januka Bishwakarma in romantic poses, suggesting a significant love story element within the film. Another poster depicts Mukun Bhusal on the shoulders of Shree Krishna Niraula in a playful scene, alongside Januka Bishwakarma and Menuka Majhi, hinting at a blend of family, humor, and emotional moments.

A third poster shows Shree Krishna Niraula and Menuka Majhi with Mukun Bhusal in a serious mood, set against backgrounds of both rural and urban settings. This indicates the film's narrative may explore various social environments and issues.

Through these posters, the production team aims to portray themes of love, family, relationships, and societal stories, emphasizing a film that captures the complexities of social life.

Lajjaavati is produced by Aha Films Pvt. Ltd., with screenplay and direction by Raj Bahadur Sane. The cast includes prominent actors such as Mukun Bhusal, Januka Bishwakarma, Shreekrishna Niraula, Menuka Majhi, Dhiren Shakya, Hiuwala Gautam, Deepak Thapa, and Binod Shrestha.

Presented by Saurabh Oli, the film is produced by Kamal Prasad Sharma and Sandip Kumar Roka, with Dinesh Budhathoki serving as executive producer. The cinematography is by Divyaraj Subedi, and Kubera Cine Distribution will handle distribution. The film’s editing is by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe,’ and the action sequences are directed by Dev Maharjan.
