Jul 06, Kathmandu - In an exciting development for fans of the popular comedy reality show ‘Comedy Champion,’ actor and comedian Jitu Nepal is set to appear as a judge in the upcoming fourth season. While the official announcement from the organizers is yet to be made, reliable sources confirm that Jitu Nepal is almost certain to sit as a judge.

If confirmed, this will mark Jitu Nepal’s first time serving as a judge on the show, adding a new dimension to the competition. The fourth season, scheduled to air from the first week of Bhadra on Himalaya Television, has already generated buzz due to the change in hosts following actress and model Reema Bishwokarma’s election as a Member of Parliament. Rumors suggest that Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha and comedian Mexam Gaudel are likely to take over hosting duties.

Bishal Bhandari will once again direct the show this season. Although the previous seasons featured a four-member judging panel, organizers have not yet disclosed how many judges will be involved this time.

His presence is expected to enhance the show’s appeal, with his natural comedic style and engaging personality promising to make the competition even more entertaining. Alongside evaluating contestants’ performances, his humor is anticipated to add a lively and humorous touch to the proceedings.

Over 150 comedians from across Nepal are reported to have participated in the auditions for this season. After several rounds of competition, the best talents will be crowned ‘Comedy Champion.’

The organizers are expected to reveal the judging panel, broadcast dates, and additional details within a few days. However, the possibility of Jitu Nepal’s entry has already significantly heightened viewer anticipation and excitement for the upcoming season.
