Car with Passengers falls into Sunkoshi in Sindhuli

Aug 03, Kathmandu - A car with four passengers, including contractors from the Mid-Hill Highway site, plunged into the Sunkoshi River near the border of Ramechhap, Sindhuli, and Okhaldhunga. The incident occurred close to the Shimu Khola area, according to Raju Baral, Vice President of Phikkal Rural Municipality in Kalinchok.

Baral, who is en route to the scene, confirmed the accident to Nepal Press and stated that rescue efforts are underway. The vehicle was reportedly struck by a bus before falling into the river.
