Tragic Dive at Tamakoshi Bridge in Dolakha Claims Woman’s Life

Aug 07, Kathmandu - A woman has tragically lost her life after jumping into the Tamakoshi River from Dolakha's Tamakoshi Bridge.

The deceased has been identified as Sitamaya Dahal from Bateshwor-4, according to Ward Chairman Kumar Chaulagai. Dahal reportedly jumped into the river around 7 a.m., and her body was later found on the riverbank at a lower point.

Authorities have been informed and have begun necessary investigations, including collecting the body and conducting an autopsy.

In a related incident on Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m., 68-year-old Kedar Nath Parajuli and his 67-year-old wife, Tilkumari Parajuli, residents of Mandandeupur Municipality-7, went missing after jumping into the Sun Koshi River.
