Aug 08, Kathmandu - A recent Russian assault in the northeastern district of Kyiv has resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a child, according to regional military officials. Kyiv has issued warnings of possible ballistic missile strikes amid escalating tensions.

In the Brovary district of northeastern Kyiv, the attack caused fatalities and injured three others, as reported by Timur Takačenko, head of the regional military administration, via Telegram. The explosion wrecked homes and vehicles, with debris causing further damage and fires breaking out in non-residential buildings.

Emergency services confirmed that the attack in the Pukhovka village damaged a two-story house and two vehicles, with a warehouse also affected by fire. Photos of the burning structure have been shared publicly.

Amidst these developments, Ukraine’s Air Force has issued warnings about the potential use of ballistic weapons from the north, prompting Kyiv to remain on high alert. The city experienced nighttime attacks, leaving four people injured, according to Kyiv’s military administration via Telegram.

In response to the missile threats, Kyiv authorities have issued air raid alerts and advised residents to seek safe locations. The ongoing escalation has raised fears of further strikes involving ballistic missiles.
