Aug 08, Kathmandu - A flight en route to Manila, Philippines, was diverted back to Hong Kong shortly after takeoff due to safety concerns. According to Hong Kong police, Flight CEB 143 safely landed at Hong Kong International Airport, with no injuries reported among passengers or crew, as confirmed by authorities.

The aircraft was suspected to have a cargo door that remained open during the flight, prompting the emergency return. The incident was reported to security agencies at approximately 3:05 PM Hong Kong time on Saturday.

According to FlightRadar24, the Cebu Pacific flight was scheduled to depart at 2:00 PM and arrive in Manila at 4:45 PM local time. After security checks at Hong Kong, the aircraft departed for Manila again at 5:24 PM.
