Aug 10, Kathmandu - An explosion occurred at Maanasing in Ward 4 of Rasuwagadhi Municipality, Rasuwagadhi District, resulting in five injuries, according to the District Police Office Rasuwagadhi.

The blast took place during the disposal of expired explosives belonging to the Sri Nath Battalion of the Nepali Army. Initial reports indicate that the explosion happened while transporting the materials.

A helicopter has been dispatched to assist in the rescue of the injured, stated DSP Ashok Thapa of the District Police Office Rasuwagadhi.
