RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane Urges Leaders to Focus on Future, Not Past Mistakes

Aug 23, Kathmandu - Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has directed party leaders and workers to stop dwelling on the past 35 years and instead focus on planning for the next 35 years. Addressing a workshop on party policy, organization, and leadership on Sunday, Lamichhane emphasized the importance of forward-looking strategies.

“Friends, it’s not about recounting the past 35 years anymore,” Lamichhane stated. “Let’s come up with a plan for the next 35 years.” He acknowledged that some things may be difficult to change but urged not to dwell on the past, adding, “We are not here to criticize those from the past 35 years. Do whatever you can. Thank you.”

Highlighting the party’s responsibility in shaping the nation’s future, Lamichhane assured that citizens have full trust in RSP and emphasized that this trust must be maintained. He also instructed party leaders and members to refrain from engaging in anti-democratic activities.

“Do not weaken democracy through our words or actions,” Lamichhane warned. “I am here to request all of you. Sometimes, even family members need to be reminded. This is not dissatisfaction but concern.” He further urged that both the government and the opposition be strong, calling for increased attention to national stability.
