Aug 31, Kathmandu - The Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting has commenced at their parliamentary office in Singha Durbar. The session is currently focusing on flood relief, rescue operations, and related issues following recent flooding in the region.

The opposition party, Nepali Congress, has criticized the government for failing to carry out adequate and mature relief and rescue efforts in the flood-affected areas.

The meeting was convened after Nepali Congress leaders Bhishmaraj Angdembe and Basmana Thapa conducted an on-the-ground inspection of Nuwakot, one of the districts impacted by the floods.
