Stock Market closed after Problem Occured in Data Center

Sep 21, Kathmandu - Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended its regular share trading for the day. According to NEPSE, 72 member companies' servers are hosted at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd., which has been experiencing technical issues since the morning of Ashwin 4. Despite ongoing efforts to resolve the problem, a solution has not yet been reached, NEPSE stated.

In light of the situation, NEPSE expressed concerns that conducting trading activities could potentially damage the exchange's trading system. As a result, the Nepal Stock Brokers' Association submitted a request to halt trading for the day.

Based on this request, NEPSE has officially suspended the regular trading session on Ashwin 5, in accordance with Rule 21(1) of the Securities Listing and Trading Regulations, 2075. NEPSE also apologized for the inconvenience caused by this suspension.
