Sep 21, Kathmandu - In today’s session of the House of Representatives, the National Service Corps Bill, 2083 was passed unanimously.

The bill was presented by Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam on behalf of Prime Minister and Defense Minister Balendra Shah. She informed the house that the bill had undergone extensive discussion in the State, Governance, and Good Governance Committee before its presentation.

Minister Gautam emphasized that the bill prioritizes the rights of children and has been crafted with their best interests in mind.

She also highlighted that clear standards have been set for students seeking training, with provisions that focus on facilitating training and development opportunities for students from remote areas.
