Oct 03, Kathmandu - The federal government has appointed new officials to the Bharatpur Hospital Development Committee, which oversees the major government-run health institution.

Under a ministerial decision, Kshitij Poudel has been appointed committee chair, with Nawaraj Timilsina and Anita Khadka named as members.

The new committee is expected to help improve hospital management, expand services and strengthen service delivery. Its members are also expected to coordinate efforts to make care more accessible, well-organized and patient-friendly.
