Rabi's Political Activism Intensified immediately after his Return from India

Oct 31, Kathmandu - Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has become actively engaged in high-level political consultations immediately upon his return from a religious visit to India.

Following a four-hour discussion with Prime Minister Balen Shah, he held separate conversations with Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle, Minister for Law Sobita Gautam, and Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal. It is reported that these meetings covered the ongoing disputes within the judiciary, the plan to withdraw the Civil Service Bill in favor of an ordinance, and the associated legal challenges. During discussions with lawmakers who possess legal backgrounds, some even suggested moving forward with impeachment motions against controversial judges. Lamichhane has called a meeting of the party secretariat for Saturday to hold further deliberations on these matters.
